Lipreading Classes

If you have a hearing loss, lipreading classes can help you to become more informed, more socially active, more confident and therefore more connected to those around you.

Our lipreading tutor runs lively, stimulating, interactive weekly classes every Monday.  You may choose from morning or afternoon - and if something comes up when you usually attend, you can always swap to the other class for your convenience.

You will:

  • Meet people in similar situations.
  • Develop new ways to cope socially.
  • Improve your communication skills and knowledge.
  • Have the opportunity to discuss common issues.
  • Be able to access useful information.

If you are unsure whether Lipreading Classes are for you, please come along and observe a class - you will receive a warm welcome and be able to make an informed decision.

Email Claudia at claudia@jdeaf.org.uk for more information and to sign up for a free taster session.

Everyone is welcome!
