Hearing Matters at Home

During the first lockdown, hospitals closed their doors and residents of Barnet and Redbridge were not able to get basic repairs done on faulty hearing aids easily. In response, JDA set up our Hearing Matters at Home service where our fantastic volunteers travelled all over both boroughs to provide essential support in those trying times. We are delighted to continue to offer our home visiting service and can send our amazing volunteers to your home to:

  • provide basic hearing aid maintenance such as cleaning, retubing and basic problem solving
  • drop off batteries
  • offer advice on how to get the best out of hearing aids

To get a volunteer visit, please contact us on
